2015 Robotics Summer Camps

FRC Team 4013 Clockwork Mania, is hosting their 4th Annual Robotics Summer Camps. Team members teach campers programming and building concepts using the Lego Mindstorm, and EV3 sets. The campers also participate in science and engineering experiments and challenges.

  • Week #1 - Simple Machines & Introduction to Robotics
    Students in grades K-3rd participate in the Simple Machines camp. Students learn how to create simple machines using Lego pieces. They also have the opportunity to see their creations come alive by using motors.
    Students attending the Introduction to Robotics camp learn how to build and program a simple robot to perform a given challenge using the Lego Mindstorm system and end the week with a Sumo Robot Challenge.

  • Week #2 - Advanced Robotics
    Students attending the Advanced Robotics camp learn how to build and program a simple robot using an Object Oriented progamming language, RobotC, to perform a given challenge using the Lego Mindstorm and Tetrix systems.

About our team

FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4013 better known as Clockwork Mania is a 4th year team. In our short time in FIRST we have participated in the FIRST World Championship twice. In our rookie year we were awarded the Rookie All Star Award at the Orlando Regional in 2012. In 2014 we were awarded the Imagery and the Chairman's Awards at the Orlando Regional and the Archimedes Division Imagery Award at the World Championship.
